Membership – How to Join or Renew

Please obtain a copy of the application form from the bar at the clubhouse or download the pdf from the website (link below).

When you have completed BOTH pages of the form, please visit the club and introduce yourself to existing members and have a drink at the bar if you would like. (it may be table service outside depending on the Covid situation).

Your application form needs to be fully completed and then signed by two existing members as proposer and seconder but please make sure that they introduce you to at least one committee member because, when committee meets, (second Monday of each month), to consider your application, they need to know who you are.

When your form is complete, please pay the £20 joining fee by BACS, cheque or cash over the bar, and make sure one of the bar staff, or a committee member, sign and date the bottom of the form to confirm receipt if paying by cheque or cash.

Hand the form and fee over the bar, or send to the Clubhouse through the post.

If you are keeping clear of the clubhouse because of Covid, there are usually still members or bar staff around the grounds to take your form, meet and welcome you and “show you the ropes”.

Please note that membership does not guarantee a boat parking space because space is limited, but you definitely cannot have a boat parking space without being a paid up member.

How to Renew your Existing Membership

If you just need to renew your membership and none of your details, have changed, please simply make your payment, preferably by BACS, to:-

Tollesbury Sailing Club

Welcome to the Tollesbury Sailing Club, one of the friendliest clubs on the East Coast. We are quite an informal club located in a little sleepy village called Tollesbury, quite close to the River Blackwater in Essex, England.
