Cruiser boat parking

‘A Yacht’ is defined as a vessel with an overall length greater than 18 feet and with a permanent cabin with two or more berths’. All vessels less than 18 feet in length will be charged the appropriate dinghy rate.

The rates for parking yachts at the club for the 2016 Summer season and the 2016/17 Winter season are as follows:

1st November to 31st March. £5.00 per foot. Minimum charge is 18 feet. It is accepted that for operational and insurance reasons boats may be laid up in October and not re-launched until late April at no additional cost. Any yachts launching on or after 1st May shall pay the additional monthly summer rate for each whole or part calendar month due from the 1st April

31st March to 31st October. Summer rate. £1.70 per foot per calendar month or part thereof. Minimum charge 18 feet. Reduced to £1.40 per foot if paid in full for the whole summer period (7 months) prior to 31st March and providing that summer berthing is approved by the Rear Commodore in advance.

Trailers and Cradles

Storage for empty cradles and trailers is for a whole or part year and is in addition to any fees paid while boats are stored on them. £60. Reduced to £50 if paid by the 31st March or in advance, with the previous winter’s berthing fees or prior to arriving in the boat park.

Follow the links below to download a Boat Parking Application Form, or collect one from the Clubhouse and return it to the Rear Commodore. Parking space will be allocated by the Rear Commodore on payment of the fee.
