A relatively small field of 5 local boats and 4 visitors competed for the TSC GP Open. Despite the poor forecast sailing conditions turned out to be pretty much perfect with a steady easterly. Racing was extremely close throughout. James Ward (Papercourt) took all three races, after a navigational error by Richard Ham in the first race. James and Richard continued to have two very close finishes in the other two races. After two perfect starts the final race had three general recalls, leading to a shortened course on the falling tide.
Third overall was Stephen Cooper, whilst first lady was Lesley Kaye in 4th O/A. Richard was top TSC boat.
