Six boats from TSC took part in the Round the Island Race this year. Here is a brief report from the Dinghy Captain:
Here are the RTIR results for the Tollesbury boats. According to Dabchicks’ weather station, it was Westerly, 15 kt average, gusting to 24 kt. Well done everybody and a big thank you to Sue Palmer and friends.The Strood Crew are always a welcome sight; we appreciated the post-race tea, Jaffa cakes and comfy chair just as much.

In all there were 99 ranked finishers out of 130-odd starters. Winners were two ladies in a 29er.
I did a bit of Googling and a replacement carbon mast for the B14 which came ashore by us is going to cost them £1,633 including VAT, which is apparently “very reasonable compared to other southern hemisphere supplied components“.
