Over 50 people joined us on our day out to East Mersea Stone. There was an excellent mix of Yachts, Dinghies and support craft.
After a brief wait in the morning for the wind to fill in it blew favourable enabling us all to get to the beach by mid-day. After a very pleasant few hours on the beach the homeward leg was equally easy as, after a few tacks to get out of the Colne, it was wind on the beam all the way home. Thanks to everybody who took part and contributed to making it a really enjoyable day.
